32-year-old Nevada woman is arrested for allegedly hiring hitman to kill her reality tv star husband

LAS VEGAS, NV – Police have arrested the wife of a reality TV star, accusing her of plotting to have her husband killed. Victoria Goodwin, 32, faces charges after allegedly attempting to orchestrate the murder of her husband, Aaron Goodwin, known for his role in the paranormal investigative series, “Ghost Adventures.”

According to authorities, Victoria Goodwin’s alleged scheme unraveled in March after communications surfaced between her and an inmate in Florida, raising alarm bells. The arrest report details that the inmate became an intermediary in what is claimed to be a plot to eliminate Aaron, who was allegedly unaware of this conspiracy against him.

The investigation revealed that Victoria had allegedly divulged details about Aaron’s filming schedule in California, potentially aiding the plot. Authorities claim she had accumulated $11,515 toward the planned murder, with exchanges discussing a $2,500 initial payment.

In one communication, Victoria allegedly questioned if she was wrong for choosing to end her husband’s life rather than opting for a divorce.

Authorities intercepted a message between the inmate and an alleged outside contact, suggesting that Aaron was at immediate risk. The text reportedly read, “He’s asleep right now in the hotel room … I need to know what’s going on. Can I get an update. Was it done?”

The plan fell apart when corrections officers in Florida discovered the inmate’s illicit phone, halting further communication. When confronted with the evidence, Victoria allegedly denied intentions to harm Aaron, claiming no recollection of the messages.

She reportedly suggested the funds sent to the inmate were for purchasing cellphones, although she admitted marital issues had left her fantasizing about life without Aaron.

Aaron Goodwin, reportedly devastated by the allegations, believed their marriage was solid. Victoria now faces serious charges of solicitation and conspiracy to commit murder. Following her arrest, she was booked into the Clark County Detention Center with bail set at $100,000. In her initial court appearance, she was instructed to avoid any contact with her husband.
