CENTREVILLE, Md. — A reward for information is being offered in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man during a house party early Sunday morning. The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to a disturbance on Centreville Road shortly after 1 a.m., following multiple reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found three individuals with gunshot wounds. The injured victims were promptly transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Unfortunately, one of the victims, Christopher Parsley, later succumbed to his injuries.
Investigators believe that the individuals responsible for the shooting were present at the party prior to the outbreak of violence. Witness accounts indicate a chaotic scene as partygoers fled the area amidst the gunfire. As of Sunday afternoon, no arrests had been made, prompting concerns within the community.
Sheriff Gary Hofmann expressed his condolences in a statement, emphasizing the impact of such violence on the community. “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and those hurt in this incident. We are committed to finding and bringing to justice those involved in this senseless act,” Hofmann stated.
