Deadly Shooting at Southwest Oklahoma City Car Dealership Leaves One Man Dead

One man has been killed in a shooting at a car dealership in southwest Oklahoma City. Police responded to a call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon at 29th Street Motors on SW 29th Street and Penn on Monday evening. The initial report suggested a potential robbery with a knife, but this information has not been confirmed by the police.

Vince Martinez, a friend of the dealership owner, rushed to the scene upon hearing about the shooting. He described the situation as “crazy” and expressed a desire to understand what transpired. According to Martinez, the deceased individual entered the dealership and an altercation ensued, resulting in someone from inside the business using a firearm to shoot the individual.

While police were unable to verify if the deceased individual was armed, Martinez revealed that his friend, the dealership owner, sustained injuries during the incident and was taken by ambulance for medical treatment.

Homicide detectives spent hours at the scene, collecting evidence and gathering information to determine the events leading up to the shooting. As of now, no one has been taken into custody by the police. The investigation is ongoing.
