Forest Park, Georgia — A shooting linked to motorcycle gang rivalry claimed two lives and resulted in serious injuries, prompting law enforcement to announce additional charges and potential arrests as the investigation unfolds. The incident, which occurred last month during a motorcycle gathering, has raised concerns about gang activity in the area.
Authorities have charged Donnell McKnight, also known as “1HQ,” and Nigel Blackwood, referred to as “Railroad,” with malice murder and violations of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. Both men are purported members of the Outcast Motorcycle Gang. Currently, McKnight is in custody, whereas Blackwood remains at large.
The shooting, which took place on April 27 on 1st Street, was reportedly ignited by a territorial dispute between rival motorcycle clubs. While initially described as a standard gathering, police have since clarified that the event involved members of the Wheels of Soul Motorcycle Club, a Philadelphia-based gang establishing operations in Georgia. This tension draws attention to an ongoing battle for control between the Outcast gang and their rivals, particularly as it relates to expanding territories.
McKnight and Blackwood were among those who sustained injuries in the shooting and were hospitalized. However, police stated that Blackwood escaped without immediate consequences due to the lack of warrants at the time he was discharged. Following his recovery, details emerged that have led to his identification as a key suspect in the violence.
Two victims, Isiah Mack and Anthony Hearns, lost their lives in this violent encounter, which has shocked the community. As investigators delve deeper, authorities anticipate more arrests as they identify other individuals involved in what they describe as a “heinous and senseless act.”
