PORTLAND, Oregon – The suspicious death investigation in the Sellwood-Moreland Neighborhood on December 19 has been confirmed as a homicide. The victim is identified as Darnell D’Shawn Davis, 39. His family has been notified of his death and provided the attached photograph for public release. They are asking for privacy.
The medical examiner has determined that the manner of death was Homicidal Violence. Detectives are actively investigating the case and are seeking information from anyone who may have details about the incident.
