Rutherglen, Scotland — A violent robbery has prompted police in South Lanarkshire to initiate a manhunt for the perpetrator. Law enforcement officials report that a 33-year-old man was assaulted and robbed on Curtis Avenue on Saturday evening around 7 p.m.
Witnesses indicated that the victim was accosted by a male suspect who subsequently fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. Investigators are now working to identify and locate the individual responsible for this dangerous act.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, of medium build, and believed to be around 25 years old. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a grey tracksuit, a black body warmer, and a black baseball cap.
