MONROEVILLE, Pa. – A Monroeville police officer was shot on Wednesday night after an armed robbery at a local business. The suspect, identified as 32-year-old Jamal Brooks, surrendered to Allegheny County police following the incident. The shooting occurred around 9:15 p.m., with the officer being struck three times. The injured officer was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital and is currently in stable condition.
