ST. ANN, MO – A Missouri mother faces serious charges after allegedly leaving her four young children unattended during a severe weather event, raising concerns among community members about child safety.
Crystal Ray, 27, was taken into custody by St. Ann police on March 14 following reports that her children, all aged 8 years and younger, were found home alone amid a dangerous storm. Authorities reported heavy winds, power outages, and downed lines in the area during the weather alert. The gravity of the situation was escalated by Ray’s alleged intoxication when she was apprehended.
