Murders in Sri Aman: Autopsy Reveals Couple Fatally Stabbed, Investigation Underway

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Authorities confirmed that a married couple found dead in Taman Mutiara, Sri Aman, suffered multiple stab wounds, leading to their tragic demise. Sarawak police reported that autopsies performed on the victims revealed they died from serious injuries inflicted with a sharp object.

Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Mohamad Zainal Abdullah shared the details during a press briefing, explaining that both victims sustained life-threatening injuries to their necks and chests. The male victim had a total of eleven stab wounds, while the female victim’s injuries were primarily concentrated in her neck area.

Investigators are currently exploring various angles in the case, though the exact motive behind the murders remains unclear. “We are maintaining a thorough and transparent investigation, utilizing both forensic evidence and witness testimonials,” Mohamad Zainal said.
