ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A parolee in Rochester, New York was found guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of Antoine Parris, 42, on Frost Avenue in November 2022. Lequan Hill, 31, was convicted on Monday in state Supreme Court for the stabbing, which resulted from an argument between Hill and his father. Parris intervened to calm the situation and was fatally stabbed in the upper body. He later died from his injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Hill, who was on parole for robbery and dangerous prison contraband convictions at the time of the incident, is set to be sentenced on February 14 by state Supreme Court Justice Alex Renzi.
