Pizza Delivery Driver Murdered in West Palm Beach: 3 Suspects Arrested

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (TCD) — Two men and a woman have been arrested for the shooting and killing of a 33-year-old pizza delivery man who had just finished delivering pizza to a birthday party.

According to West Palm Beach Police Department spokesman Mike Jachles, police officers responded to Ninth Street and Douglass Avenue on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 12:50 p.m. and found the victim, Tommie Anderson III, who had been shot. Despite attempts to save him, Anderson did not survive.

The tragic incident occurred right after Anderson completed a delivery to a birthday party. Investigators do not believe that the shooting is connected to the party where he dropped off the pizzas.

The suspects, 25-year-old Elijsha Wingfield, 25-year-old Avianna Williams, and 29-year-old Marcus Williams, were arrested on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm.

Surveillance video revealed details of the incident, including a white Honda with a “unique dent” on the rear door and one of the individuals in the car wearing a “round hockey-styled mask.” The video also showed the suspects pulling up directly next to Anderson’s car.

Wingfield was allegedly in possession of a 9mm handgun and semi-automatic gun, while Marcus Williams was carrying a large knife and an AR-15 rifle. Avianna Williams allegedly drove the Honda, and Wingfield attacked Anderson, ultimately leading to his death.

The victim, Tommie Anderson III, was a father of two and was only on his second day at work. His father, Tommie Anderson Jr., described him as someone who was just trying to make ends meet for his two children.

In summary, the suspects have been charged with first-degree murder in the deadly shooting of Tommie Anderson III, a hardworking and dedicated father. The details of the incident are truly tragic and have left the community in shock.
