In a separate incident, a Falmouth couple shared photos of a massager that exploded while charging at their bedside. Consumers who have purchased these massagers, which are available at retailers such as Macy’s and JCPenney, are being advised to stop using them and to contact HoMedics for a full refund. The company is also urging customers to check the manufacturing date, as massagers manufactured in 2022 or earlier are included in the recall.
