GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – In Gwinnett County, a man was recently found guilty of a revenge shooting that resulted in the tragic death of another man. The suspect, Neil Frasdilla, reportedly planned and carried out the murder as a form of vengeance for a previous altercation between them.
The incident occurred in September 2023 when Darius Dugger was shot and killed while on his way to a family dinner. What makes this story even more heartbreaking is that Dugger’s fiancé and their four-year-old son were also present during the shooting.
After the shooting, police were able to track down Frasdilla using technology from the Tesla car he had rented. The Gwinnett County District Attorney’s Office announced the recent verdict of guilty in Dugger’s murder following a jury trial.
During the trial, prosecutors revealed that Frasdilla’s motive stemmed from a previous incident where Dugger had intervened to help Frasdilla’s girlfriend, who was reportedly being abused. The situation escalated into a physical confrontation between Dugger and Frasdilla, leading to the fatal shooting a year later.
The jury also learned that Frasdilla had rented a gray Tesla to follow Dugger and his family to the restaurant where the shooting took place. This calculated and premeditated act shocked the community and highlighted the dangers of unresolved conflicts escalating to tragic outcomes.
