WASHINGTON — The grieving family of Micah Brown, who was tragically killed in an April shooting incident, is now reaching out to the public for their assistance in solving the case. Brown, a 21-year-old employee of the Washington Commanders, was discovered with fatal gunshot wounds inside his car in Prince George’s County.
Authorities responded to a call about gunshots on the evening of April 6 and found Brown multiple times shot within his vehicle, parked on the 11000 block of South Laurel Drive. The Prince George’s County Police are conducting an ongoing investigation, yet there’s a growing concern among Brown’s relatives that the case might slowly fade from attention without crucial leads or tips.
In Brown’s remembrance, the Washington Commanders, where he was part of the audiovisual department, honored him with a tribute jersey, commemorating his service and dedication.
During an emotional address, Brown’s sister, who prefers to stay unnamed for privacy reasons, communicated her profound loss and despair. She questioned the motive behind her brother’s death, describing him as a dedicated worker and a devoted believer who was committed to his faith and his family.
She expressed her devastation, saying, “I am a little depressed because my brother is gone, and I will never see him ever again. He was an innocent person. He went to work every day, was a man of God, and always did his best.”
The family and investigators are urging anyone with information, no matter how insignificant it might seem, to come forward and contact the Prince George’s County police.
