BENGALURU, India – A Bengaluru start-up founder has been arrested for the alleged killing of her four-year-old son in Goa before attempting to transport his body to Karnataka. Suchana Seth, CEO of Mindful AI Lab, was taken into custody in Chitradurga, Karnataka on Monday, according to the Goa Police. Authorities reported that the woman murdered her child, as she did not want her ex-husband to have contact with him following their divorce in 2020.
The couple had married in 2010 and had a son in 2019, but their relationship ended in 2020 and visitation rights were granted to the father for weekly meetings with his son. It is reported that Seth did not want the father to see the child, so she took him to Goa and allegedly killed him in their apartment, before attempting to transport his body alone.
