Haslet, Texas – Two students from a Northwest ISD middle school have been arrested and are facing serious charges after creating a disturbing document detailing a plan to attack their school. The document named 32 students and staff members as targets, prompting swift action from school officials and law enforcement.

According to Northwest ISD, a concerned parent alerted administrators at Truett Wilson Middle School about the troubling document. Further investigation revealed a meticulously outlined plan to carry out an attack on the school campus. The document also included a “watch list” containing the names of 25 students and seven staffers at the middle school.

School leaders are taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of all students and staff at Wilson Middle School. Additional security personnel and counselors will be present at the school for the remainder of the week to provide support and reassurance to the school community.

While the names and ages of the students have not been released, it is believed that they are juveniles. The district has emphasized its commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students and staff within the school district.

Northwest ISD is actively investigating the threat and is exploring whether any other students were involved in the creation or distribution of the document. The district has expressed gratitude to the parent who brought the document to their attention and continues to cooperate with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation.
