Suspect Arrested in Fatal Shooting of Houston Attorney Over Fast Food Dispute

Houston, Texas – A suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the tragic death of a 46-year-old attorney over the weekend, as revealed by court documents. Anthony Martin Landry, 57, faces charges of murder in the fatal shooting of Jeffrey Limmer.

Limmer was found unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds at a McDonald’s near the Katy Freeway, where officers responded to a shooting incident. Despite efforts to save him, Limmer was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation conducted by the Houston Police Department unveiled that Limmer attempted to calm Landry down, who was apparently upset over his order and demanded a refund. In court documents, investigators described Landry as yelling racial slurs and displaying an angry demeanor.

According to details in the court documents, a confrontation ensued between Limmer and Landry outside the establishment. Following a physical altercation where Limmer pushed Landry to the ground, Landry resorted to retrieving a gun from his truck and shooting the attorney before fleeing the scene in a blue Ford pick-up truck.

Subsequent to tracking down the suspect, police confirmed Landry as the shooter through witness identification. Court records also revealed that Landry had been out on bond after being charged with assaulting a family member in February.

Currently held without bond, Landry awaits his initial court appearance as the legal proceedings progress. For further updates and news, stay connected with Jiovanni Lieggi on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
