President Joe Biden called vaccinations an “essential aspect” of hurricane preparation. His comment prompted Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to tell Floridians on social media that state authorities are prepared to assist any Floridians who may be affected by Hurricane Ian, regardless of vaccination status.
