EDMOND, Okla. — A 24-year-old woman has died following a stabbing incident at a marijuana dispensary early Friday morning. The attack occurred at the Kush House dispensary on South Broadway, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
Emergency services were dispatched shortly before 10 a.m. after a coworker called 911, reporting a violent confrontation. In a frantic call to dispatch, the witness provided alarming details about the ongoing attack, indicating that a male suspect was involved.
Upon arrival, police found the victim, identified as Telah Jackson, suffering from severe injuries, including multiple stab wounds to her abdomen and back. Edmond Police Officer Emily Ward characterized the event as a targeted assault, underscoring the brutality of the incident.
The alleged assailant, 25-year-old Claytion Hill, remained at the scene and was apprehended without any further incident. He was subsequently taken to the Edmond Police Department for questioning, where investigators began piecing together the circumstances surrounding the attack.
Jackson was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite the medical team’s efforts, she later succumbed to her injuries.
