LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – The unsolved killing of Tupac Shakur, also known as 2Pac, has once again taken center stage as Las Vegas police revealed that they have executed a search warrant in connection with the ongoing investigations surrounding the hip-hop star’s death.
Shakur was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting on the night of September 7, 1996, just off the Las Vegas Strip while sitting inside a BMW with then-Death Row Records head Marion “Suge” Knight. Despite being only 25 years old at the time, the “Hail Mary” hitmaker succumbed to his injuries six days later on September 13, 1996.
Almost 30 years later, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) confirmed that they searched a home in Henderson, Nevada, on Monday related to the star’s murder. However, as of Tuesday, no arrests have been made and further details about the search were not readily available.
