Valdez is described as dangerous and is reportedly driving a four-door gray sedan, according to a police spokesperson, David Scott.
The situation unfolded late Monday night when officers were called to an apartment located on Belleview Avenue near East 11th Street, following a report about two unresponsive individuals. Upon arrival, police discovered the bodies of the 43-year-old woman and her 19-year-old son in their home, and both were pronounced dead at the scene.
David Scott emphasized that this appears to be an isolated incident within the residence. It was revealed that the suspect had a personal connection to the victims. A family member disclosed to local media that Valdez had previously been in a relationship with the mother and there had been allegations of past abuse.

Vigil remembered her mother as a beacon of joy and comfort. “She’ll always keep a smile on your face and always make you laugh no matter what. I was her best friend,” Vigil expressed mournfully.
