23-year-old Illinois mother stabbed her three children so she could send them to heaven

CHICAGO, IL – A 23-year-old woman in Chicago faces multiple charges after allegedly stabbing her three young children in an incident that left them seriously injured but alive. The woman, identified as Aurionah-Rakii-Karie Parker-White, has been charged with three counts of attempted murder and three counts of aggravated battery to a child following the Wednesday morning attack.

The unsettling scene was first discovered by DeVaughen Stringfellow, a tow truck driver, who stumbled upon Parker-White’s 1-year-old daughter clad only in a bloody diaper near their apartment.

Further investigations revealed that Parker-White was carrying another bloodied child out of the residence, which prompted Stringfellow to transport the family to the nearest hospital without hesitation despite the gruesome conditions.

Authorities reported that the children, aged 1, 3, and 5, suffered wounds primarily to their wrists and were admitted to the hospital in serious condition. A blood trail from the apartment to the street painted a somber picture of the chaotic morning.

In discussions with law enforcement, Parker-White allegedly confessed to the attacks, citing overwhelming stress from single-handedly caring for her children. Court documents and eyewitness statements suggest she felt isolated, lacking support. Hospital staff reported that Parker-White mentioned acting out of desperation due to her circumstances.

At the hospital, her 5-year-old son, a witness to the distressing event, reportedly sought to comfort his mother amidst the chaos, reassuring her repeatedly that things would be “alright.” This child later told medical personnel that his mother spoke of a wish to “make them go to heaven,” highlighting the gravity of the family’s ordeal.

Besides the charges related to her children, Parker-White is also reported to have expressed suicidal intentions. The case continues to unfold as prosecutors and defense attorneys prepare for an upcoming trial, aiming to piece together the events leading up to this tragic incident.

Parker-White’s court appearance on Saturday led to her being held in custody without bail at Cook County Jail, with her next court date scheduled for June 6.
