Allegations Unveiled: Trio of New Mexico Firefighters Accused of Googling ‘How Long Does DNA Stay in the Vagina’

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Three firefighters in New Mexico are facing charges for allegedly gang raping the sister of a colleague, with new details emerging about their actions before and after the incident. Albuquerque Fire Rescue Lt. Aden Heyman, Firefighter Angel Portillo, and retired driver Anthony Martin were charged with second-degree rape for the July 15th incident.

According to police documents, the trio allegedly searched Google for information on how to get away with the crime following the incident. They also exchanged text messages in which they vowed to keep quiet about the assault. Heyman reportedly reassured his accomplices that their victim didn’t want people to know, while Martin expressed his hope that the incident wouldn’t become public.

In addition to these disturbing communications, investigators found text messages from Portillo expressing regret for his actions and attributing the crime to the influence of alcohol. Further evidence pointed to Heyman conducting a web search on “How long does DNA stay in the vagina,” three weeks after the attack, possibly in an attempt to cover their tracks.

The assault took place after a local golf tournament, where the victim and her sister, who both worked at the Albuquerque Fire Department, had been drinking throughout the day. The women reported that the atmosphere changed when Heyman arrived at Martin’s home, leading to the victim feeling unwell and ultimately losing consciousness. She later escaped through a bathroom window and was found crying outside the apartment complex.

These new details shed light on the disturbing nature of the incident and the alleged efforts made by the firefighters to avoid detection. As the case continues to unfold, the firefighters are set to face the consequences of their actions in the courtroom, where the full extent of their involvement will be assessed.
