Arrest Made in San Bernardino County Kidnapping, Assault, and Robbery Case

Chino Hills, California – A 24-year-old man from San Bernardino County is in custody, facing charges of kidnapping, assault, and robbery following a violent incident involving a female victim. Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, a Chino Hills resident, was arrested after an argument turned physical on May 7, resulting in significant injuries to the woman, according to a statement from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities reported that Lockwood-Stinson took the victim’s phone, wallet, and cellphone before the victim managed to escape. However, later that day, the suspect found the woman and forced her into his vehicle on Palomino Drive in Chino Hills. The victim attempted to flee but was physically restrained and threatened by Lockwood-Stinson.

After the victim reported the incident to deputies at the Chino Hills Police Station, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Lockwood-Stinson. He was apprehended near his residence on May 8 and taken into custody at the West Valley Detention Center. The nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim has not been disclosed.
