San Antonio, Texas – A man was taken into custody after his girlfriend reported a violent assault that occurred on Friday. According to the arrest affidavit, San Antonio Police responded to a call from a woman who claimed she had been attacked by her boyfriend, 28-year-old Johnathan Turner, at their residence on the Northwest side of the city.
The victim alleged that Turner had pulled her hair, punched her multiple times in the face, and kicked her while she was on the ground. She also reported that Turner had then grabbed a gun and held it to her temple. As a result of the assault, she experienced pain in her scalp area, as well as her face, and had a bump and swelling where the gun had been placed.
Turner has been charged and arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and is currently being held on a $65,000 bond. His next prehearing is scheduled for March, to take place in Bexar County Jail.
