Arrests Made in Connection to Mountain View Christmas Day Shooting and Robbery

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – Four individuals have been apprehended by Mountain View police in connection with a Christmas Day incident involving a robbery and shooting.

According to authorities, the suspects, four males, allegedly robbed a 7-11 on 1905 Latham St. on Dec. 25, during which a necklace was stolen. Later that same day, a shooting occurred in the 900 Block of Clark Avenue, resulting in the injury of a six-year-old child. It is believed that the same suspects were involved in the shooting.

On Wednesday, 18-year-old Tristen Villanueva, a resident of Mountain View, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, assault likely to cause great bodily harm, conspiracy, and gang enhancement. Additionally, 20-year-old Gilbert Murillo, also from Mountain View, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy and gang enhancement, along with two juvenile males from the same area, who were apprehended on suspicion of conspiracy and gang enhancement. One of the juveniles is facing further charges for a probation violation.
