BOSTON — A commuter charged with assaulting an elderly woman on an MBTA bus faced a court hearing Friday, where shocking video footage of the incident was presented. Luz Pineda, 32, was arraigned earlier this month on allegations of pushing the victim off the bus, leading to significant injuries.
During the pre-trial hearing in Roxbury District Court, Pineda entered into a plea agreement that stipulates probation and prohibits her from using public transit for two years.
