Bride assaulted by strange man outside Texas nightclub during her bachelorette party

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Canada Rinaldi’s anticipated bachelorette celebration took a harrowing turn when she became the victim of a violent assault outside a Texas nightclub, casting a shadow over her upcoming wedding plans.

Rinaldi, 27, was attacked late Saturday night while awaiting a ride, resulting in severe injuries, including a concussion, a broken nose, and chipped teeth. Her recovery also involved eight stitches to her face. The brutal incident left her with mounting medical bills, a GoFundMe page revealed.

Recollection of the attack remains fragmented for Rinaldi. “I remember walking towards the back of the car, then waking up in an ambulance,” she recounted. A group of friends had gathered to celebrate what was supposed to be a joyous occasion leading up to her wedding.

Kirsten McDowell, a friend, initiated a fundraiser to help cover Rinaldi’s medical expenses, amounting to $10,000. Just a day before the incident, Rinaldi had expressed that she was having the best trip of her life, which was tragically cut short by the attack.

Despite being physically back in Oklahoma, Rinaldi continues to grapple with the psychological aftermath. “It’s shocking,” she shared. “It feels like my experiences were taken from me.” Yet, she remains hopeful for a full recovery by her wedding day.

The alleged attacker remains unidentified, leaving Rinaldi and her friends searching for answers. She recounted to local media that the incident involved a stranger, with no prior interaction or provocation.

Her bridesmaid, Kelly Peralta, stood witness to the chaotic night, even suffering a punch herself while attempting to protect Rinaldi. The trauma of the night lingers with those involved, clouding what was meant to be a momentous celebration for Rinaldi.

Despite efforts to move forward, the incident has left Rinaldi disillusioned about her upcoming nuptials. “I’m not excited to plan my wedding anymore,” she admitted, struggling to hold back tears.

Authorities in Oklahoma City are urging anyone with information to contact the Dallas Police Department in hopes of apprehending the assailant.
