Brother-in-law hacks real estate businessman to death over 25 lakh dispute in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, India – A tragic incident unfolded in Chevella on Tuesday night as a financial dispute turned deadly, resulting in the murder of a man by his own brother-in-law. The victim, K Narayana Dasu, a 48-year-old involved in the real estate business, met his demise at a farm house where he was hacked to death with an axe. The perpetrator, identified as Bhaskar, allegedly killed Dasu following an argument that escalated during a drinking session between the two.

According to the police, the conflict stemmed from Dasu’s failure to repay a substantial sum of money, amounting to 25 lakh, to the accused. The altercation culminated in a gruesome act of violence, leaving Dasu lifeless at the scene. The authorities swiftly intervened, registering a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code and apprehending the perpetrators. The farm house where the murder took place was described as the victim’s property, with only the victim and the assailant present at the time of the incident.

In a recent string of criminal events, such as the arrest of two suspects in the shooting incident at Salman Khan’s residence and a murder case arising from suspicions of a two-wheeler theft, the community has been shaken by acts of violence and crime. These incidents serve as a grim reminder of the prevalence of crime and the need for enhanced security measures to ensure public safety.

The tragic loss of life in Chevella serves as a stark reminder of the devastation that can arise from unresolved conflicts and disputes. As the authorities work diligently to bring those responsible to justice, the community mourns the loss of a life cut short by violence. Such incidents underscore the importance of conflict resolution and peaceful means of addressing financial disagreements to prevent such senseless acts in the future.
