Christian Oliver, Beloved Actor, Believed Dead in Private Aircraft Crash Off the Caribbean Sea

PAGET FARM, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Christian Oliver, a well-known German-born actor recognized for his work in “Speed Racer,” “Hunters,” and “The Good German,” is believed to have tragically died after a private aircraft carrying him and his two daughters crashed into the Caribbean Sea on Thursday.

The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force recovered four bodies, including that of the actor, who was identified as Christian Klepser, and his two daughters, Madita and Annik, along with the owner and pilot of the aircraft.

Local authorities expressed their condolences and stated that the investigation into the matter continues. The aircraft flew out of the J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm at around noon, headed for St. Lucia, but experienced difficulties shortly after take-off and plummeted into the ocean.

Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm were among the first to respond to the crash scene in their boats to render assistance. The bodies were recovered from the aircraft wreckage by local divers before being transported to St. Vincent and taken to the Kingstown Mortuary.

The cause of death is currently unknown, but post-mortem examinations are expected to be carried out. Oliver’s career included performances in “Valkyrie,” “The Baby-Sitters Club,” and the TV series “Sense8,” among others.
