Clayton Sheriff Leads Hunt for Teen’s Mass Shooting Killer with Community Basketball Event

Clayton County, Georgia – Sheriff Levon Allen of Clayton County is determined to bring the perpetrator to justice in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Kiyre Allen during a mass shooting incident in August of 2022.

The tragic event took place outside the Parks at Leeds on Riverdale Road, where five individuals were shot. Kiyre, who had recently graduated from Creekside High School, was among the victims.

Sheriff Allen and his deputies recently attended an event hosted by Catrice called “Shoot Hoops, Not Guns.” This initiative aimed to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for young individuals in the community.

The sheriff not only participated as a coach in the annual basketball game but also made a promise to Catrice that he would actively assist in the investigation to bring her son’s killer to justice.

Kiyre’s family has raised a reward of $25,000 for any information that could lead to the apprehension of the suspect responsible for his death.
