Convenience Store Clerk Fatally Shot After Confronting Chip Thieves: Police Seek Public’s Help

Houston, Texas – A tragic incident occurred on Friday when a convenience store clerk was shot and killed after attempting to stop two men who had stolen a bag of chips, according to the Humble police. The shooting took place at 11:30 a.m. near the intersection of Will Clayton Parkway and Eastex Freeway. The clerk, following the alleged robbery, pursued the men in his vehicle until they reached the intersection, at which point the men opened fire on the clerk from inside their car.
