MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Law enforcement officials are investigating a shooting that left one man dead in Cordova Friday evening. The incident occurred around 5:40 p.m. in a parking lot on Berryhill Road, near the intersection with Chimneyrock Boulevard.
When detectives arrived, they discovered the victim inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency responders from the Shelby County Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
