The girls, ages 5 to 9, were last seen during a visit with their father, Travis Decker, who failed to return them to their mother, prompting a missing person alert.
Authorities launched a search over the weekend that culminated on Monday when they located Decker’s vehicle near Rock Island Campground, not far from where the girls’ remains were eventually found.
