New York City – A career criminal known as “Killa” is facing charges after a tragic incident where NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller was shot during a routine traffic stop in Flatbush. Lindy Jones, 41, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and defacing a weapon in connection with the incident.
The fatal shooting occurred as Diller and other “quality of life” officers were conducting a traffic stop on a double-parked vehicle outside a T-Mobile store. The passenger in the car, 34-year-old Guy Rivera, allegedly opened fire on the officers, striking Diller in the stomach.
