Elderly Woman Killed in South Delhi Home Invasion, Robbery; Accused Apprehended

New Delhi, India: A tragic incident took place in the city as an elderly woman was killed during a robbery in her home in south Delhi. The suspects, including a juvenile, have been apprehended by the police. The victim, Shakuntala, 80, resided alone in her home in Jaitpur, while her son lived separately with his family in the same locality.

The police received a call at 8:45 a.m. regarding the robbery-cum-murder and immediately responded to the scene. The Crime Team then conducted a thorough inspection of the location, reviewed CCTV footage, and interviewed witnesses to piece together the sequence of events.
