Encounter with Police in Gujrat Leaves Two Suspected Robbers Dead

GUJRAT, Pakistan – Two suspected robbers were killed in a police encounter in Qazi Chak, as reported by local news sources. According to the police, the robbers, identified as Ghulam Abbas and Imran alias Mana, were wanted in connection with the murder of a doctor, Zeeshan Anwar, during a robbery.

The police claimed that the under-custody robbers were killed in a crossfire initiated by their own accomplices. It was alleged that the robbers were dangerous criminals with a history of serious crimes, and were wanted by the police in connection with multiple heinous offenses.

The fatal encounter occurred while the police were transporting the suspects to a location for further evidence identification. As the police party was traveling, four of the robbers’ associates, riding bikes, opened fire on the police, causing the under-custody robbers to sustain fatal injuries before reaching the hospital.

After the shooting, the remaining outlaws managed to escape from the scene. A manhunt has since been launched by the police to apprehend the fleeing bandits. The area has been cordoned off, and the police have formed a team to pursue and capture the suspects.

The incident has sparked a renewed effort by the authorities to address the issue of rising criminal activities in the region. The police are now focused on apprehending the remaining members of the gang and are working to gather additional evidence to support their investigation.
