Exclusive: Illegal Immigrant Charged with Killing Elderly Man, Injuring Three Others in Florida

An illegal immigrant has been accused of killing a 72-year-old person and harming three others in a drunk driving accident in Walton County, Florida.

Jose Virgilio Carcamo Elvir, a 42-year-old illegal migrant, was accused of one count of DUI murder, three counts of DUI causing substantial severe injury, driving with a terminated permit, and driving with open liquor containers.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office stated that Elvir is an illegal traveler in the United States. The Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) organization has put a detainer on him so that, assuming he is released, they will take control over custody.

Based on a report by Florida Highway Patrol, Elvir was drunk driving in Walton County on April 3 when he collided with the rear of another vehicle and caused an eight-vehicle crash as a result.

Perry Adrian Cole, a 72-year-old occupant of Palmetto Bay, Florida, was engaged in the accident and hurried to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Santa Rosa, Florida, where he was subsequently pronounced dead in light of his injuries.

“Only weeks after a Haitian criminal outsider ruthlessly killed a Florida couple in Daytona Beach, another innocent Floridian lost his life because of a displaced person in Walton County,” Gov. Ron DeSantis’ (R) office wrote in a statement.

“How much senseless violence and suffering will Americans persevere while the Biden Administration pairs down on their crazy open-borders plan?” they said.

Three different Americans endured substantial severe wounds in the accident and were taken to a close-by medical clinic. Onlookers let officials know that they saw Elvir plastered while driving when he caused the accident and wouldn’t leave his vehicle afterward.

At the point when Elvir rolled his window down, one of the observers expressed the expatriate smelled of liquor. One official said he saw Elvir staggering while at the same time strolling and keeping himself adjusted by clutching a vehicle.

Elvir’s vehicle was looked at, and officials found various open Budweiser cans. The foreigner would not take a temperance test. Found on Elvir was an Alabama driver’s permit that terminated in January 2020.

It is unclear the way that Elvir had the option to get an Alabama driver’s permit as the state expects candidates to deliver verification of American citizenship.

As DeSantis’ office noticed, the episode happened only weeks after a displaced person from Haiti was accused of fiercely killing 55-year-old Brenda Aultman and 48-year-old Terry Aultman while riding their bicycles home in Daytona Beach, Florida.
