Fatal Altercation Erupts at Hartford After-Hours Party; Two Dead

HARTFORD, Conn. — Hartford police discovered two deceased individuals in a residence following an overnight party on Saturday morning. The authorities received reports of gunshots at a home on Garden Street just before 5 a.m., where they found evidence of a large gathering that had taken place in the basement and upstairs of the house.

According to Hartford Police Lt. Aaron Boisvert, three adult males were found at the scene, two of whom had succumbed to fatal injuries. The third victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. Preliminary investigations indicated that an altercation occurred in the basement, resulting in shots being fired by two individuals. One of the deceased individuals was identified as 36-year-old Adrian Easterling, while the deceased victim was identified as 26-year-old Akeem Williams, both of Hartford.

Following the initial gunfire, the second shooter reportedly fired at the first shooter in what appeared to be an act to prevent further violence, as stated by the police. This incident marked the fourth homicide of the year in the area, as reported by Boisvert. The police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter.
