Horror Plane Crash Trauma Contributed to Death of Beloved Cameraman, Reveals Heartbreaking Effects

MELBOURNE, Australia – The aftermath of a tragic plane crash in Victoria has brought sorrow to the television industry as a second cameraman has passed away, with the trauma of the incident believed to have contributed to his death.

Nick Beaney, a beloved 61-year-old cameraman, was working alongside his colleague James Rose and Jetworks Aviation pilot Stephen Gale on November 19, before the fatal crash in Port Phillip Bay. It’s been reported that Mr. Beaney had been filming the cockpit of the Viper S-211 Marchetti jet earlier that day before the collision took place.

The former military jet collided midair with a second aircraft over the water near Melbourne, and the bodies of Mr. Rose, 30, and Mr. Gale, 56, were found in the wreckage on November 21. Six weeks after the crash, Mr. Beaney died on December 28, after suffering an aneurysm, with his wife, Siobhan, believing that the stress of the crash contributed to his death.

Mr. Beaney was burdened with the responsibility of informing James Rose’s father, David Rose, of his son’s death following the tragedy, indicating the deep personal impact the crash had on those involved. At his memorial service, it was revealed that Mr. Beaney and his wife would have celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary this month, and his two sons, Angus and Edward, fondly remembered their father.

The investigations into the crash continue as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragedy. The pilot of the second plane managed to fly back to Essendon Airport and the community continues to mourn the loss of two talented individuals.
