INDIANAPOLIS, IN – An Indianapolis man is facing a slew of charges after allegedly attempting to kill his estranged wife twice in two days. Carlton Gray, 46, is accused of trying to run her over with his car outside a Goodwill store where she worked and then shooting her the next day.
Court documents describe a pattern of harassment, indicating Gray had repeatedly threatened his wife since their separation in March, often confronting her at work with threats like, “I’m going to kill you.”
The terrifying sequence of events escalated as Gray allegedly broke into a residence the following day and fired five shots, wounding his wife in the leg.
