Indictment Against Randy King for Killing Buckhead Valet Includes Multiple Charges

ATLANTA, Georgia – A man has been indicted by a grand jury in Fulton County for the killing of a parking valet in Buckhead. Randy King has been charged with shooting and killing Harrison Olvey back in September. Olvey was working as a valet at a parking garage when he was shot after interrupting a man breaking into a vehicle.

King had been on the run for a month before he turned himself in to the police. The indictment against him includes charges of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, entering an automobile to commit a theft, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. King’s next court date for an arraignment hearing is scheduled for February 13th.

After King’s arrest, the family of the victim expressed relief, stating that while it will not bring Olvey back, having King off the streets means no other family will have to go through the pain they’ve experienced. Olvey had recently graduated from Kennesaw State University and was about to start a new job before he was killed.

This tragic incident has left a lasting impact on Olvey’s family, and the indictment of the accused killer brings some measure of closure to them. The ongoing legal proceedings will hopefully bring justice for the victim and his loved ones. The senseless loss of Olvey has sparked conversation about safety and security in the community, prompting calls for better measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
