The incident occurred just after 10 p.m. on Monday, with neighbors along East 12th Street being startled by the sound of gunfire. Multiple witnesses reported hearing what sounded like rapid gunfire, culminating in the discovery of the victim, Jaden Thrasher, shot outside near a vehicle in the street.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found Thrasher wounded and in critical condition. Despite being transported to the hospital, Thrasher succumbed to his injuries, deeply affecting his family. Dajuan Thrasher, the victim’s father, expressed profound pain and anguish over the senseless act that claimed his son’s life.
