Investigation: Small Explosion Outside Dayton Home Prompts Police Response

DAYTON, Ohio – Police in Dayton are currently investigating a small explosion that occurred outside a residential home on Tuesday night. According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, the authorities were called to the 4700 block of Prescott Avenue just after 9 p.m.

The blast damaged a car but did not cause any harm to the home, police reported. Initially, the call came in as “shots fired,” but upon further investigation, it was determined that the loud noise was caused by a small explosion.
