Kenneth Law Faces 14 Counts of Second-Degree Murder in Ontario

Toronto, Ontario – Police in Ontario have charged Kenneth Law, 58, with 14 counts of second-degree murder in connection with multiple deaths across the province. The alleged poison seller is also facing 14 counts of counselling or aiding suicide.

The investigation into Law’s activities includes collaboration with law enforcement agencies around the world, such as the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the U.K.’s National Crime Agency. The new charges are related to the same alleged victims in multiple Ontario municipalities, including Toronto, Peel Region, York Region, and other areas.

Law, who is currently in police custody, was initially arrested by Peel police in May after an investigation into two local deaths. Investigators say his alleged victims in Ontario range in age from 16 to 36. According to York Regional Police Insp. Simon James, more than one of the victims were under the age of 18.

Law’s lawyer, Matthew Gourlay, acknowledged the new charges but declined to provide further comment at this time. Meanwhile, authorities are urging the public to be vigilant about home deliveries from specific companies that may be linked to Law’s activities.

The investigation into Law’s alleged online poison-selling operation extends beyond Canada, with reports suggesting his projects may be linked to numerous deaths worldwide. It has been confirmed that Law shipped packages to addresses in multiple countries, including New Zealand, France, Ireland, Italy, Germany, and Switzerland. Multiple Canadian police forces outside of Ontario are also reviewing past sudden deaths in light of the allegations against Law.

Law’s next court date is scheduled for Dec. 19 at the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Newmarket. The case remains ongoing as authorities continue their efforts to ensure justice for the victims and hold Law accountable for his alleged actions.
