Kevin McCarthy Vows To Hold Alvin Bragg Responsible

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy stated Thursday evening that his chamber would hold Alvin Bragg accountable for an “extraordinary misuse of authority.” As a result of the Manhattan district attorney’s unprecedented indictment of former President Donald Trump, he has “irreparably hurt our nation.”

The House Republicans wrote Bragg a letter this week requesting that he explain why he was seeking criminal charges against the 45th president based on a seven-year-old financial transaction with porn star Stormy Daniels and laws that had lapsed.

Bragg refused to answer questions, and his office alerted Trump’s attorney Joe Tacopina on Thursday that a grand jury indictment had been acquired.

McCarthy immediately responded to the news on Twitter, making it clear that Congress would not remain silent in the face of Trump and his allies’ belief the legal system is being used to rig the 2024 presidential election in which Trump is currently leading the GOP field by a significant margin.

McCarthy stated that Alvin Bragg had severely injured our country by interfering with our presidential election. McCarthy added that Braggs has repeatedly released dangerous criminals to intimidate the public, and now he is militarizing the revered judicial system against President Donald Trump. This injustice will not be tolerated by the American people, and the House of Representatives will hold Alvin Bragg accountable for his extraordinary misuse of authority.

Kari Lake This is a sad time in our nation’s history. This is nothing more than an attempt to destroy Donald J. Trump, the 45th and 47th President of the United States. The Radical Left and their militarized criminal justice system have violated all legal and ethical boundaries. That simply strengthens him.
