The incident occurred inside the fifth-floor office of the Prince Law Group, with the victims identified as Las Vegas attorney David Prince, his wife Ashley Prince, and the shooter, identified as attorney Joe Houston II.
The Las Vegas police homicide lieutenant, Jason Johansson, revealed during a news briefing that the shooter, a man in his 70s, took his own life after fatally shooting a man in his 50s and a woman in her 30s during a meeting. Investigators noted that the shooting transpired shortly after the hearing commenced on Monday morning, causing shock and panic among the seven individuals present in the room.
Authorities described the victims as specific targets of the shooter, highlighting the deliberate nature of the attack. Despite the tragic outcome, four individuals, including a court reporter, managed to escape the scene promptly and alert the authorities.
