COLUMBUS, Ohio – A grand jury in Franklin County has indicted a 36-year-old man for his alleged involvement in the brutal attack that led to the death of 61-year-old Li-Chu Lin at a north Columbus hotel. Arthur Scott Jr. faces charges of aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, rape, and strangulation in connection with the incident.
According to court documents, Columbus Division of Police officers responded to a call at the Double Ten Hotel on April 26, where they discovered Lin with severe injuries consistent with a violent attack. Video evidence obtained from the hotel showed Scott entering a room after checking for unlocked doors, followed by Lin. Later, Scott was seen leaving the room, leaving Lin naked and with evident physical injuries inside.
