Manhunt intensifies for suspect in West Richland double homicide and abduction

He was last seen driving a 2009 silver Toyota Corolla bearing Washington license plates CBZ4745. An AMBER Alert has been issued for Huizar and his 1-year-old son, Roman Huizar, whom authorities believe he may be taking to Mexico.

Elias Huizar, a former Yakima Police officer, has a history of legal issues, including pleading not guilty to child rape charges in February. Furthermore, just days before the recent shooting, Huizar’s ex-wife had filed for a custody change concerning their two children.
