Bengaluru, India – A tragic incident unfolded in Bengaluru when a 24-year-old woman was fatally stabbed by an acquaintance, leading to a double murder. The assailant, identified as 44-year-old Suresh, met the victim, Anusha, in Jayanagar where a dispute escalated, resulting in the fatal stabbing. Anusha’s mother, witnessing the attack, intervened by striking Suresh with a stone, which proved to be fatal.
According to initial investigations, the altercation between Anusha and Suresh stemmed from her decision to distance herself from him, which he did not accept. The encounter at Sarakki park turned deadly when Suresh allegedly stabbed Anusha multiple times with a knife. Anusha’s mother, who had followed her to the park, tragically witnessed the brutal attack on her daughter.
Bengaluru South DCP Lokesh Bharamappa Jagalasar revealed that Anusha sustained grave injuries, succumbing to wounds on her chest and neck upon arrival at the hospital. The tragedy unfolded as both individuals were acquainted through work – Anusha working as a caretaker and Suresh employed by an event management company. The motive behind the attack appears to be Anusha’s attempt to distance herself from Suresh.
